In the woods and on the riverbanks, this is where many ferns develop and many flowers bloom such as jonquils, yellow iris, hyacinths and digitalis, but also some rare species such as royal ferns
Winding through the forest, rock boulders and natural meadows, the river supplies the watermill and creates a favourable environment for many animal and plant species to live in.
This environment provides refuge for some protected species such as otters, and on the river banks, you can also see herons, egrets, wagtails,, and if you are lucky you might see some kingfishers.
